Who are we?
was created by Jay Blanchard, a wealth manager in Buffalo, NY. Jay created the program in memory of his mother who was taken from him at a young age. “We often appreciate and value the most that which we have lost and can never get back.” Early in Jay’s career, he made the conscious decision to work primarily with women. He chose this path because he recognized early on that women face unique challenges when it comes to preserving and growing their wealth and discovered there was an overwhelming need for financial information, specifically for female clients. His mission is to help all women feel more comfortable and confident about their finances so that they are better equipped to make informed decisions about their future.
It’s now more important than ever for women
to take charge of their finances.
We believe in taking the time to truly understand what it is you are looking for in an advisor and want you to feel comfortable with our financial investment and planning approach. It is important to make sure that we are a good fit for each other. We want you to be completely comfortable sharing what’s most important to you, what you value, what frustrates you, and where you think you can use the most help.
The true value of investments and financial planning can only be measured by the positive effect they have on people.
Wealth to Women
I’m a financial advisor, entrepreneur, husband, father, and friend committed to helping you grow your financial wealth and bring you to financial freedom.
I lost my mom to breast cancer when I was quite young, and growing up without a mother made me value women even more. I see my mother’s face in every woman I have helped over the years.
I had been in the financial industry for quite some time before I developed Wealth to Women. It was the result of many requests and the obvious need, as I could see women were not getting the help and information they were looking for. I designed this program to be educational and meet women at their unique level of sophistication—whether that is just getting started or highly accomplished. Our goal is to nourish your roots of knowledge and help you grow a strong financial plan that you understand and have confidence in.

May 2017, Jay began the world's longest and toughest self-supported bike race in the world, the Trans America Bike Race. He undertook this 4,200 mile, coast-to-coast bike trip with the purpose of raising awareness and money for the American Widow Project.
The American Widow Project (AWP) has served over 2,200 military widows since this organization was founded in 2007 by Taryn Davis, who lost her husband while he was serving in Iraq. AWP provides support to widows through programs designed to educate, empower, inspire, and assist in rebuilding their lives in the face of tragedy.
